The Milwaukee M18™ QUIK-LOK™ Brushless Pole Saw (model 3115-20PS) is a split-boom cordless pole saw made of two parts: the M18™ QUIK-LOK™ Brushless Power Head and a QUIK-LOK™ pole saw attachment with a 10" bar. Sold as a bare tool with a saw chain, shoulder strap, Allen wrench and bail handle. M18™ battery and charger sold separately.
What it does well
- Brushless motor that Milwaukee rates as more powerful than 27cc gas power heads. It holds speed in demanding cuts instead of bogging down.
- 10" bar with a 3/8" low-profile pitch, .043" gauge chain (40 drive links) for fast, controlled cuts.
- 4,600 RPM for pruning and limb removal.
- 7' of reach for overhead cutting.
- Milwaukee rates it at 110 cuts in 3" diameter material on one M18™ REDLITHIUM™ HIGH OUTPUT™ XC6.0 battery.
- Automatic bar oiler with a translucent oil reservoir, so you can check the oil level at a glance.
- Branch hook pulls down branches that hang up after the cut.
- Easy-access chain tensioner, padded grip and a balanced design to cut fatigue overhead.
- Variable speed trigger for control at the start of each cut.
- Split boom fits every QUIK-LOK™ attachment, so the same power head can run a string trimmer, edger, hedge trimmer, blower and more.

- Brushless vs. FUEL: Milwaukee rates this 3115 pole saw at more power than 27cc gas with a 7' length. The M18 FUEL™ Pole Saw w/ QUIK-LOK™ (3016-20PS) is the step up, rated at 25% more power than 31cc gas with a 7'-10' extended length. The 3115 is the lower-cost way into the QUIK-LOK™ system.
- Battery: this is a bare tool. Milwaukee says it performs best on an M18™ REDLITHIUM™ HIGH OUTPUT™ XC6.0 battery.
- Need more reach: the QUIK-LOK™ 3' Extension Attachment (49-16-2721) is part of the same attachment system.
- Already own a QUIK-LOK™ power head: Milwaukee lists its QUIK-LOK™ attachments as compatible with the 3016-20, 3115-20 and 2825-20 power heads, and sells the QUIK-LOK™ Pole Saw Attachment (49-16-2720) on its own.
