M18™ HOTSHOT™ Jump Starter

The Milwaukee M18 HOTSHOT Jump Starter (model 3841-20) is a capacitor-based automotive jump starter that runs off any M18 battery and is always ready to jump — no pre-charging or maintenance required. Paired with an M18 battery, it prepares to jump in under 70 seconds and delivers up to 2000 peak amps to start up to 8.1L gas and 3.0L diesel engines. This is a bare tool: the M18 battery and charger are sold separately.

This is built for pros already running the M18 system who want a jump starter that is ready on demand without babysitting a charge level. Because it is a bare tool, it makes sense if you already own M18 REDLITHIUM XC5.0 or higher batteries — it is optimized for XC5.0 and above. If you don't have M18 batteries yet, budget for a battery and charger alongside it. The IP65 rating (tool only), custom clamp design, and spark-proof, reverse-polarity, and overheat protection make it suited to demanding shop and field use.
