The Milwaukee M18™ QUIK-LOK™ Brushless 15" String Trimmer (model 3115-20ST) is a split-boom cordless trimmer made of two parts: the M18™ QUIK-LOK™ Brushless Power Head and the QUIK-LOK™ 15" String Trimmer Attachment. Sold as a bare tool. M18™ battery and charger sold separately.
What it does well
- Brushless motor that Milwaukee rates as more powerful than 27cc gas power heads. It holds speed in thick growth instead of bogging down.
- 5,900 max RPM, with a variable speed trigger for control along beds, fences and walks.
- Adjustable cutting swath: run at 15" for the most clearing per pass or 13" for longer runtime.
- Easy Load trimmer head holds 25' of line and reloads in under 30 seconds.
- Takes .080" or .095" trimmer line.
- Motor sits at the rear of the power head for better balance and maneuverability.
- Split boom fits every QUIK-LOK™ attachment, so one power head can also run an edger, hedge trimmer, pole saw, blower, cultivator and more.
- Part of the M18™ system of 300+ tools. Milwaukee optimizes the power head for the M18™ REDLITHIUM™ HIGH OUTPUT™ XC6.0 battery.

- Tool only vs. kit: this listing is the bare tool. If you don't already run M18™ HIGH OUTPUT™ batteries, the kit (3115-21ST) adds an M18™ REDLITHIUM™ HIGH OUTPUT™ XC6.0 battery and an M18™ & M12™ Multi-Voltage Charger.
