M18 FUEL™ 1/2" High Torque Impact wrench w/ Friction Ring Kit

The Milwaukee M18 FUEL 1/2" High Torque Impact Wrench with Friction Ring (2967-22) is a cordless 18V impact wrench built around a POWERSTATE Brushless Motor. This is the kit version and includes M18 REDLITHIUM XC5.0 batteries. It delivers up to 1,100 ft-lbs of fastening torque and up to 1,500 ft-lbs of nut-busting torque with the included XC5.0 batteries, and up to 1,600 ft-lbs of nut-busting torque when paired with M18 REDLITHIUM FORGE batteries. At 7.6" in length it is built for access in tight spaces.

What it does well

• POWERSTATE Brushless Motor produces up to 1,100 ft-lbs fastening torque and up to 1,500 ft-lbs nut-busting torque with the included REDLITHIUM XC5.0 batteries.
• 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL sets output speed and power from a single button — Mode 1: 0–700 RPM, Mode 2: 0–1,300 RPM, Mode 3: 0–2,000 RPM, Mode 4 FWD: 0–900 RPM.
• AUTO SHUT-OFF (Mode 4) applies no more than 50 ft-lbs for hand-tight fastening, and Bolt Removal Mode slows to 750 RPM once a fastener breaks free to help prevent drops.
• 1/2" friction ring anvil allows quick, tool-free socket changes; Tri-LEDs around the anvil light the work with fewer shadows.

Is this the right impact wrench for you?

This is a high-torque 1/2" wrench aimed at pros breaking loose stubborn bolts and fasteners in the shop or on the jobsite. Because it is the 2967-22 kit, batteries are included, so it is a ready-to-run choice if you are buying into or expanding an M18 setup. If you already own M18 batteries and only need the bare tool, look at the tool-only version instead.
