The Milwaukee M18 REDLITHIUM FORGE XC8.0 Battery & Dual Bay Super Charger Starter Kit (48-59-1881SC) pairs one M18 REDLITHIUM FORGE XC8.0 battery (48-11-1881) with the M18 Dual Bay Simultaneous Super Charger, Milwaukee's fastest M18 charger.

What it does well

• On the included Super Charger the FORGE XC8.0 reaches 80% in 35 minutes and 100% in 45 minutes. Milwaukee's chart lists 67/83 minutes on a Rapid charger and 135/162 minutes on a standard charger for the same pack.
• The FORGE XC8.0 delivers the same power as the M18 HIGH OUTPUT HD12.0 in a smaller, lighter pack, rated PWR Level 4 on the REDLITHIUM Power scale.
• Battery and charger are both COOL-CYCLE capable: active cooling lets a hot pack charge sooner after heavy use.
• The charger takes two M18 packs at once and uses CHARGE ADAPT to send power to the pack that can take the most; it also brings a FORGE XC6.0 to 80% in 15 minutes and works with all M18 REDLITHIUM batteries.
• The battery housing resists common oils, greases and solvents, and the fuel gauge is readable in direct sunlight. REDLINK Intelligence protects against overload.

The M18 FORGE XC8.0 Starter Kit (48-59-1881) in our store has the same battery with the M18/M12 Rapid Charger, which costs less but takes 83 minutes for a full charge and also charges M12 packs. The Super Charger in this kit is for M18 batteries only, so M12 users still need a separate M12 charger.
