The Milwaukee M18 FUEL Pole Articulating Hedge Trimmer Kit (model 3012-21) is a battery-powered extended-reach hedge trimmer that cuts branches up to 1" thick. As a kit, it ships with an M18 REDLITHIUM FORGE XC8.0 (8.0Ah) battery, so you can trim right out of the box. With the FORGE XC8.0 battery installed, total tool length is 87" for high, deep hedge work without a ladder.

What it does well

  • POWERSTATE Brushless motor drives a 24" double-sided, dual-sharpened blade set at 3,500 strokes per minute
  • Cuts branches up to 1" thick with a 1" blade gap for faster, more aggressive cutting
  • Cutting head articulates through 270° — 12 operating positions plus 1 storage position — for overhead, ground-level, and awkward-angle cuts
  • 5-position rotating handle and blade tip guard help control the cut and protect the blade and surrounding property
