The Milwaukee M18 FUEL 17" Dual Battery String Trimmer Kit (3006-22) is a cordless trimmer built for landscape maintenance pros, running on (2) M18 REDLITHIUM batteries and driven by a POWERSTATE Brushless Motor for gas-rivaling power. As a kit, it ships ready to run with two M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT XC8.0 (8.0Ah) batteries and a charger — no gas, mixing, or pull starts.
What it does well
- POWERSTATE Brushless Motor delivers up to 5.25 Nm peak torque and 3.8 HP peak power for demanding cutting
- Reaches full throttle in under 1 second with a variable-speed trigger and two speed settings (0–4900 / 0–6200 RPM)

- Easy Load Trimmer Head loads up to 25' of line in under 30 seconds; runs 0.080", 0.095", and 0.105" line diameters
