Details

The Milwaukee M18 FUEL ANGLER 240' Steel Pulling Fish Tape Kit (model 2873B-22) is a cordless, battery-powered fish tape puller built on the M18 platform. Its AUTO-RUN Powered Feed & Retract drives the tape through a run and automatically reels it back into the replacement cartridge, replacing manual push-and-pull. This is a complete kit: it ships with a steel pulling cartridge, two M18 REDLITHIUM CP2.0 batteries, and an M18 & M12 multi-voltage charger, so no battery purchase is required to start.

What it does well

POWERSTATE Brushless Motor with the power to pull wire through a 200' run with 360° of bends
AUTO-RUN Powered Feed & Retract reduces muscle effort and auto-retracts the tape into the cartridge for a cleaner jobsite
Powered base accepts 3 interchangeable Less Binding replacement cartridges — up to 240' steel and 100' non-conductive
REDLINK PLUS Intelligence and a variable-speed trigger for overload protection and controlled feed rate

Is this the right fish tape for you?

This kit suits electricians and low-voltage installers already on the M18 battery system who pull long runs and want to cut hand fatigue on repetitive jobs. Because the base takes interchangeable steel and non-conductive cartridges, it is a good fit if you switch between energized and de-energized work. If you only make short, occasional pulls, a manual fish tape may be enough.
