Details
The Milwaukee M12 FUEL™ Compact Band Saw (model 2529-20) is a cordless, one-handed band saw built for cutting metal, conduit, and Unistrut with a 2-1/2" × 2-1/2" cut capacity. This is a bare tool — the M12™ battery and charger are sold separately. One 12/14 TPI Extreme Metal blade is included.
What it does well
- 2-1/2" × 2-1/2" cut capacity for pipe, conduit, threaded rod, and Unistrut
- POWERSTATE™ brushless motor with Constant Power Technology™ for consistent cutting speed under load
- Weighs roughly six pounds with integrated blade covers for controlled one-handed use
- Variable-speed trigger, built-in LED work light, and an integrated rafter hook for storage between cuts
Is this the right band saw for you?
Choose the 2529-20 if you already run the M12™ battery platform and want a light, portable saw for overhead and one-handed metal cutting. Because it ships as a bare tool, it is the right pick when you have batteries and a charger on hand; if you are new to M12™, buy a kit or add a battery and charger. It also accepts the band saw reamer attachment (49-90-2029, sold separately) so you can cut and ream with one tool.
