M12 FUEL™ 5-3/8” Circular Saw Kit

The Milwaukee M12 FUEL 5-3/8" Circular Saw Kit (2521-21HO) is a compact, one-handed 12V cordless circular saw built around a POWERSTATE brushless motor. This is a kit: it ships with the saw, one M12 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT XC5.0 battery, and a charger, so it is ready to cut out of the box. Milwaukee rates the included XC5.0 battery for up to 190 cuts in 2×4 per charge.

What it does well

• POWERSTATE brushless motor spins the 5-3/8" carbide blade up to 3,850 RPM for ripping and cross-cutting sheet goods and cross-cutting dimensional lumber.
• Compact and light at 6.4 lb with the battery installed (4.5 lb bare), making it manageable in tight spots and overhead.
• LED light illuminates the cut line, a cut-line blower clears debris, and a blade brake stops the blade quickly when the trigger is released.
• REDLINK PLUS Intelligence manages overload protection, and an integrated adjustable storage hook hangs the saw when not in use.

Is this the right saw for you?

Pick this saw if you want a genuinely portable 12V circular saw for smaller cuts, punch-list work, and overhead cutting where a full-size saw is more than you need. It runs on the M12 system and is compatible with all M12 REDLITHIUM batteries. If you routinely cut thick stock all day, a larger 18V saw may suit you better — but for trim, sheet goods, and dimensional lumber in confined spaces, this kit is hard to beat.
