The Milwaukee M12 Cable Stapler Kit (model 2448-21) is a compact, cordless 12V stapler built to speed up electrical rough-ins by fastening NM-B sheathed cable (14, 12, 10 AWG) and low voltage cables. As a kit, it pairs the tool with an M12 battery and charger; Milwaukee 1" insulated cable staples are sold separately.

What it does well

  • Sinks up to 1,200 staples on a fully charged M12 CP2.0 battery, with a coil-spring mechanism that drives each staple to a consistent depth.
  • Handles NM-B sheathed cable in 14, 12 and 10 AWG plus low voltage cable, with moveable cable guides for proper alignment.
  • 45-staple magazine, a staple viewing window and dry-fire lockout keep you loaded and cut wasted trigger pulls.
