Details
The Milwaukee M12 Cordless Sub-Compact Band Saw Kit (2429-21XC) is a one-handed cordless band saw built for cutting small-diameter metal. It weighs 6.75 lbs and measures 12" in length, and this kit ships with an M12 REDLITHIUM XC4.0 High Capacity battery, 30-minute charger, an 18 TPI blade, and a hard carrying case — ready to cut out of the box.
What it does well
- 1-5/8" × 1-5/8" cut capacity for common small-diameter metal cutting applications
- Cuts 3/4" EMT in about 3 seconds and delivers over 150 cuts per charge with the included XC4.0 battery
- Dual-latching lower guard covers the blade outside the active cutting area, addressing OSHA guarding requirements for one-handed use
- Variable speed trigger, LED cut-line light, and adjustable blade tracking for control
Is this the right band saw for you?
Pick this saw if you cut conduit, rod, strut, and other small-diameter stock and want a light, packable tool you can run one-handed overhead or in tight spots. At 6.75 lbs on the M12 platform it trades the larger capacity of a deep-cut saw for portability, so match it to the 1-5/8" cut capacity. Use only Milwaukee 48-39-0572 Sub-Compact Portable Band Saw Blades.
