M18™ ROCKET™ Dual Power Tower Light

The Milwaukee M18 ROCKET Dual Power Tower Light (model 2131-20) is a cordless-or-corded LED tower light that produces 2,500 lumens of TRUEVIEW High Definition output and extends from 4 to 7 feet to flood large work areas. This is a bare tool — an M18 battery and charger are sold separately, or you can run it off an extension cord.

What it does well

• Delivers 2,500 lumens of TRUEVIEW High Definition output — roughly 25% more light for all-day area and task lighting.
• Dual power: run it on an M18 REDLITHIUM battery for cordless portability or plug into an extension cord for continuous runtime.
• Extends from 4 to 7 feet with a 5-second setup, throwing light overhead to reduce shadows in the workspace.
• Impact-resistant, adjustable light head and reinforced legs on a low center of gravity for a stable base; a protective guard secures the head and lens during transport and storage.

Is this the right work light for you?

Choose the 2131-20 if you already run the M18 system and want a portable tower that lights a whole area without a dedicated generator. It is a bare tool, so it makes the most sense for crews that already own M18 batteries; if you have no M18 packs yet, budget for a battery and charger, or plan to run it corded. The onboard charger also tops off M18 batteries while the light is plugged in.
