The Milwaukee M12 FUEL™ Installation Drill/Driver Kit (2505-22) is a compact 12V drill/driver built around a 4-in-1 attachment system — a 3/8" all-metal chuck, a 1/4" hex, a right angle head, and an offset head that swap onto the tool for drilling and fastening in tight and awkward spots. As a -22 kit, it ships with an M12™ battery and charger.
What it does well
- POWERSTATE™ brushless motor delivers up to 300 in-lbs of max torque and runs to 1600 RPM.
- 4-in-1 dedicated attachments (3/8" all-metal chuck, 1/4" hex, right angle, offset) connect in 16 positions for access at almost every angle.
- Right angle attachment fastens and drills at 90° for reach in tight spaces; the offset head works into corners without marring finished material.
- Compact and light — 5.12" wide and 2.0 lbs with the battery installed — with a magnetic bit holder and inline grip for control in confined areas.

This is an installer's tool. If you spend the day fastening cabinets, fixtures, and hardware where a full-size drill won't fit, the swappable heads and inline grip earn their keep. If you mainly need one general-purpose drill for open-space work, a standard M12 or M18 drill/driver is a better match — this tool trades raw power for access.
