The Milwaukee M12 FUEL™ Stubby 1/2" Impact Wrench (model 2563-22) is a compact, high-torque cordless impact wrench that delivers up to 550 ft-lbs of nut-busting torque while measuring just 4.9" in length and weighing 2.2 lbs as a bare tool. This is a kit — it ships with M12™ REDLITHIUM™ batteries and a charger, ready to run out of the box.
What it does well
- POWERSTATE™ brushless motor produces 0–3,000 RPM and up to 550 ft-lbs of nut-busting torque to break loose corroded and stubborn fasteners
- 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL™ lets you tune output speed and power, and includes an Auto Shut-Off mode that applies no more than 15 ft-lbs for hand-tight fastening plus a bolt-removal mode that slows RPM once a bolt is free
- Single-handed mode changes: shift the forward/reverse shuttle to neutral and double-tap the trigger to switch modes without stopping
- Tri-LED work lights illuminate the work area with reduced shadows; friction-ring anvil allows fast socket changes
