M12™ Stick Transfer Pump

The Milwaukee® M12™ Stick Transfer Pump (2579-20) is a cordless water transfer pump built to clear catch basins, water meter boxes, trenches, and sump pump pits. Its 36" submersible barrel reaches water at the bottom of trenches and hard-to-access areas, moving up to 9 gallons per minute one-handed so the other hand controls the outflow. This is a bare tool — the M12™ battery and charger are sold separately.

What it does well

• Pumps up to 9 gallons per minute and up to 275 gallons on one M12™ REDLITHIUM™ XC4.0 battery
• HydroPass™ 360° filter maximizes flow in heavy debris to minimize clogging and downtime
• 36" submersible barrel with a slide switch for easier inlet control in deep pits and trenches
• 15 ft max head height pushes water out of pits and basins, over walls, and to the deposit location

Is this the right transfer pump for you?

Choose the 2579-20 if you already run the M12™ battery platform and need to clear standing water from basins, meter boxes, or trenches without repetitive manual pumping. The threaded filter removes easily for cleaning, and the ¾" outlet threads onto a standard garden hose. Because this is a bare tool, it makes sense if you own M12™ batteries already; otherwise budget for a battery and charger.
