BOLT™ Personal Voltage Detector

The Milwaukee BOLT™ Personal Voltage Detector (48-73-2895) is a helmet-mounted voltage detector that warns you with a tone and a flashing light when it detects voltage in the 2.4 kV to 500 kV range. It secures into the BOLT™ Front Mount on Milwaukee® BOLT™ safety helmets and hard hats, runs on a USB-C rechargeable internal battery (up to 32 hours) and is IP67 water resistant.

What it does well

• Detects voltage from 2.4 kV to 500 kV across a wide detection field.
• Clear tone and flashing-light alerts, with a faster second alert as the signal gets stronger.
• Single-mode operation: no sensitivity settings to get wrong.

• A flashing green heartbeat light shows the detector is on, and the light bar doubles as a battery indicator.
