The Milwaukee M18 FUEL™ ¼" Hex Impact Driver (model 2953-20) is a brushless 18V impact driver rated at 2,000 in-lbs of fastening torque and up to 3,900 RPM. This is a bare tool — the M18™ REDLITHIUM™ battery and charger are sold separately.
What it does well
- POWERSTATE™ brushless motor delivers 2,000 in-lbs of torque with a speed range of 0–3,900 RPM and 0–4,400 IPM.
- 4-Mode Drive Control, including a Self-Tapping Screw Mode that reduces walking, overdriving, and stripping when starting self-tapping screws.
- Compact 4.47" head length and 2.2 lb bare weight (3.8 lb with battery installed) for access in tight spaces.
- Tri-LED lighting illuminates the work area while reducing shadows, plus single-handed bit insertion into the ¼" hex quick-change chuck.

Because the 2953-20 ships as a bare tool, choose it if you already own M18 REDLITHIUM packs and a charger. If you need a complete out-of-the-box setup, look for a kit version (2953-21/-22) instead.
