Details
The Milwaukee 48-22-4259 is a 1" constant swing copper tubing cutter built for straighter, cleaner cuts in tight spaces. Its 4-roller design keeps the tool tracking true and prevents walking around the pipe, and it handles copper tubing from 1/8" up to 1-1/8". An extra cutting wheel ships in the box. This is a hand tool — no battery or charger required.
What it does well
- Cuts copper tubing from 1/8" to 1-1/8" outside diameter
- 4-roller design tracks straight and prevents the cutter from walking during rotation
- Chrome rollers add rust protection for extended durability on the jobsite
- Tool-free blade change and a smooth adjustment mechanism speed up repeat cuts
Is this the right tubing cutter for you?
If you run copper lines up to 1-1/8" — HVAC, plumbing, or refrigeration — this constant swing cutter is sized for that range and made to feed cleanly through a full rotation. Buyers who need a larger capacity or a ratcheting style for very tight walls should look at a different model, but for everyday 1/8"–1-1/8" copper work this covers it and includes a spare wheel.
