M18™ Red Exterior Rotary Laser Level Kit w/ Receiver

The Milwaukee M18 Red Exterior Rotary Laser Level Kit (model 3701-21) is a cordless, ONE-KEY enabled rotary laser built for exterior leveling and grade work, and it ships with the laser, its long-range red laser receiver, an M18 battery and charger. It runs on the M18 battery system — compatible with 200+ M18 solutions — and pairs a one-button setup with a reinforced housing rated to survive a 1.5m drop and a 2m tripod tip.

What it does well

• Holds 3/32" accuracy at 100 ft. and spins at 600 RPM for fast, repeatable leveling
• The included receiver detects the beam up to 2000 ft. (diameter) with a backlit display and strobe-light protection to cut interference and downtime
• Built-in manual masking shutters block the beam in any direction so it won't interfere with other lasers on site
• IP66-rated, glass-filled nylon and polycarbonate housing with up to 70 hours of run-time and low/high bump sensitivity modes

Is this the right laser for you?

Choose this kit if you need exterior grade and elevation control across large sites and want the receiver bundled in rather than buying it separately. The 2000 ft. working diameter, ONE-KEY tracking, and drop-rated housing suit concrete, sitework, and general contractors already invested in M18 batteries. If you only work short interior runs, a smaller line or point laser may be enough.
