The Milwaukee M18 FUEL™ Covered Conductor Cable Stripper (model 2937-21) is a cordless tool built for end-stripping insulation on aerial, 600V secondary, and medium-voltage covered conductor cable. Six adjustable, quick-connect bushings cover cable outer diameters from 0.5" to 2.1", so one tool handles a wide range of conductors without a bag of extra accessories. This is the kit configuration, which includes an M18™ 3.0 Ah battery and charger.
What it does well
- Strips covered conductor at 1" per second — up to 4× faster than manual strippers
- Six adjustable bushings strip cable from 0.5" to 2.1" outer diameter for maximum versatility
- No exposed blades and AUTOSTOP™ kickback control, which prevents over-rotation in a bind-up, reduce the risk of cuts and injuries
- Adjustable depth gauge sets strip length up to 6" and is fully removable for extended-length applications
