The Milwaukee M18 FUEL 1-3/4" SDS Max Rotary Hammer Kit with ONE-KEY (model 2918-22HD) is a cordless SDS Max rotary hammer built for heavy drilling and chipping, delivering 11 ft-lbs of impact energy from an 18V M18 battery. As a kit, it ships with M18 batteries and a charger, so it is ready to run out of the box.
What it does well
- POWERSTATE Brushless Motor drives 347 RPM and 2,625 BPM (0–2,625 BPM range) for fast drilling and heavy chipping.
- Delivers 11 ft-lbs of impact energy through an SDS Max chuck for a 1-3/4" rotary hammer size.
- AUTOSTOP Enhanced Kickback Control helps prevent over-rotation in a bind-up, while the AVS Anti-Vibration System reduces vibration and user fatigue.
- Two modes (Hammer-Only and Rotary Hammer), 12-position chisel adjustment, forward & reverse, and a chisel lock for extended chipping.

It weighs 17.4 lb bare and 21.4 lb with a battery installed, so it is a two-hand, jobsite-duty tool rather than a light one-hand rotary hammer. VACLINK wireless dust control and ONE-KEY tracking make it a fit for crews already running Milwaukee dust extractors and inventory management. If you only need occasional light drilling, a smaller SDS Plus hammer is the better choice.
