The Milwaukee M18 FUEL™ 1" SDS Plus Rotary Hammer with Dust Extractor Kit (2912-22DE) bundles a POWERSTATE™ brushless rotary hammer with the matched M18™ HAMMERVAC™ 1" dedicated dust extractor to deliver OSHA Table 1 compliant drilling in one system. Because it is a -22DE kit, M18™ REDLITHIUM™ batteries and a charger are included, so the tool runs straight out of the box.
What it does well
- POWERSTATE™ brushless motor produces 2 ft-lbs of impact energy at 1,330 RPM and 4,800 BPM.
- Three selectable modes — rotary hammer, hammer only, and rotary only — handle drilling, chipping, and rotary drilling from one tool.
- AUTOSTOP™ Kickback Control electronically detects bind-up and shuts the motor down to reduce over-rotation in rebar or hard aggregate.
- Inline HAMMERVAC™ extractor pulls dust from holes up to 1" in diameter and 6" deep; its certified HEPA filter captures 99.97% of particles larger than 0.3µm, and AUTOPULSE™ self-cleans the filter after each use.
