M18 FUEL™ 1/2" Router Kit

The Milwaukee M18 FUEL 1/2" Router (2838-21) is a cordless router kit built around a POWERSTATE brushless motor that generates the power and torque of a 2.25 peak HP corded router. This kit ships with the router console, both a fixed base and a plunge base, plus an M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT XC6.0 battery and an M18/M12 Rapid Charger, so it runs out of the box.

What it does well

• POWERSTATE brushless motor delivers 2.25 peak HP of corded-equivalent cutting power for clean cuts in hardwood.
• Variable speed dial adjusts from 25,000 to 12,000 RPM to match bit speed to the material.
• Micro-adjust knob tunes depth in 1/64" increments; the macro-adjust button moves fast across the fixed base's 2" of total travel, and a 6-step depth turret sets stops at 1/8" increments.
• Included plunge base delivers 2.5" of plunge travel; dual-LED lights and a tool-free spindle lock (one 1-1/16" collet wrench) round out the build.

Because it includes the XC6.0 HIGH OUTPUT battery and Rapid Charger, it is the ready-to-run choice over a bare tool.
