The Milwaukee® M18 FUEL™ 14" Top Handle Chainsaw Kit (model 2826-21T) is a cordless, top-handle saw built for arborists, utility line crews, and landscape pros who need gas-class cutting without pull starts, fuel mixing, emissions, or engine maintenance. This is a kit: it ships with the tool plus an M18™ REDLITHIUM™ FORGE™ XC 8.0 battery and charger, so it is ready to run out of the box.
What it does well
- POWERSTATE™ Brushless Motor delivers up to 2.7 HP peak power and 3.2 Nm peak torque, and reaches full throttle in under 1 second for immediate control.
- Cuts faster than 35cc gas and holds speed under heavy loads in hardwoods without bogging down.
- Runs a 14" bar with a .325" pitch, 0.043" gauge chain (59 drive links) at a 15 m/s chain speed.
- Delivers roughly 150 cuts per charge on the FORGE™ XC 8.0 battery, or up to 225 cuts on a FORGE™ HD12.0, cutting 4" × 4" cedar.

It ships ready to cut with a FORGE™ XC 8.0 battery; if you regularly make long runs of cuts between charges, the higher cut count of a FORGE™ HD12.0 (sold separately) may suit you better. It is not a ground-based felling saw — the top-handle design targets climbing and elevated cutting.
